How much charcoal do I need to get started

This will depend on how much grilling is needed, generally on full fire starter basket is usually enough but if needed just add a few extra pieces of charcoal

What can I grill on my Mali Hibachi

There is not much that you are unable to grill, Choose the right grilling option with a grilling surface of approx 60cm x 30cm. If it fits on one of our optional grills it will work.

How do I protect the table when Grilling

Our grills are designed to not have direct heat on your tables. The carefully designed wooden legs and space between the grill and table should be enough. As a precaution we recommend placing a fire proof mat under the grill to avoid any damage to the table surface from heat or oil drips.

Our Mali Hibachi grill is designed to have the internal fire box and the external grill body absorb much of the direct heat so it avoids extreme external heat from your charcoal.

* All grilling surfaces can get very hot so we recommend to take all precautions and wear protecting gloves and not touch the grill directly while in use or while it is cooling down.

Why has the Stainless Steel colour changed

Why does Stainless Steel Discolour?

Despite its name, stainless steel can stain or discolour over time. It is natural for this to happen and is usually a result of smoke and heat wearing away at the material, creating a dull patina that puts a damper on the shiny finish. Fortunately, some cleaners will remove most discolouration caused by smoke and heat, though restoring to 100% of its original state is very hard and not guaranteed therefore over time change of colour and surface rust is not covered by warranty.
